Q: What type of experience do you have?
Vertigo Musik began in 2007 providing services for public/private
events. I began DJing professionally 5 years ago. I have
experience in performing for public/private events. I also donate my time to
the local teen center and play weekly for Virtual DJ Radio as DJ G.
Q: Do you just play music or do you get involved with the crowd?
I
interact with the crowd through positive humor and games as time
dictates. I want to be entertaining for everyone to make the event memorable.
Q: How do you dress?
I dress according to your event ranging from a tuxedo to a Halloween costume. I will always ask how you want me to dress.
Q: What about music and requests?
I
have a huge selection of music but I know I don’t have everything.
This is why I meet with you before hand to determine
what songs I don’t have that I can get. I welcome requests but won’t
play music with offensive or demeaning language. If I still don’t have
the song but you have the compact disc, by all means I’ll play it. An
additional benefit of living in the technological age is I have the
capability of a wireless connection to the Internet and can often download the
song right there!
Q: When do you set up?
I
prefer to set up one hour before the event begins. This allows me to
make sure the equipment looks proper and for sound checks. I also want
to play ambient music so people feel welcome when they arrive.
Q: Do you have written Contracts?
Yes. I am professional in every aspect. I go over the contract with you personally with all the important details for your event. The contract spells out exactly what both parties are responsible for and it helps protect both parties.
Q: Do you have insurance?
Yes. I am insured through the American Disc Jockey Association.
